Our NIL Commitment

We didn't just want to sell golfers gum. We wanted to back the ones still grinding to make it.

birdiegum's NIL commitment isn't a logo on a banner. It's a direct financial contribution to the programs that develop the next generation of golfers — money that helps keep these athletes in the game they've given their lives to.

What "powering" actually means

When we say we power a program, we mean it literally. With funding, not a slogan.

"Powering" isn't about what's in an athlete's bag. It's about what's behind the program. Here's exactly what our commitment is.

01

A real financial commitment

Our NIL deal is a funded contribution — not a product placement, not a free-sample arrangement. Actual support, on the books.

02

Into the retention fund

Those dollars go toward the program's athlete retention fund — the resource that helps a program keep its roster together season to season.

03

So they can keep playing

The point isn't exposure for us. It's stability for them — helping talented young golfers stay in their program and keep competing.

Why we started here

We built birdiegum for the part of golf nobody trains. The mental game. The people fighting that battle hardest aren't on tour yet. They're 19, on a college roster, grinding through the toughest competitive years of their lives.

College golf is where the love of the game gets tested the hardest. By pressure, by money, by everything pulling a young athlete away from the sport. We couldn't fix all of that. But we could put real support behind the programs holding it together.

So we did. Not as a sponsor looking for a logo placement, but as a brand that believes the people growing this game deserve to be backed by it. We're starting with women's college golf because that's where we saw a place to genuinely help and we're only getting started.

Program 01

It starts with San Diego State Women's Golf.

"birdiegum is the official focus gum of our program. We're proud to partner with a brand that's investing in the people who play this game, not just selling to them."

— Lauren Dobashi, San Diego State Women's Golf

Lock in. So they can too.

Every golfer who chooses birdiegum is part of the reason we can keep showing up for the ones coming up behind them.
